If you want to come to the United States of America and be a citizen, do so, but do it legally. Learn the English language and leave your tradition at your country of origin. We have our own traditions. Leave your loyalty to your country in your country of origin. You will no longer be Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Japanese or whatever. You will be an American. You can not be both. In the words of Theodore Roosevelt....
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language ... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." And by the way, should you wish to sing the National Anthem of the United States of America, sing it in English. This is not Mexico or Italy or Greece or any other foriegn country. Learn Enlish or go home. Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is the "Country of Choice"?????? Think about it! All we have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS?
I celebrate Christmas, but because it isn't celebrated by everyone we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings.
It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how this winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday?
We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem with that.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we
are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11,
we have experienced a surge
in patriotism by the majority
of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had
barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about
the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.
I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America.
Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants.
However, there
are a few things that those
who have recently come to
our country (and apparently some born here) need to understand.
This idea of America being a
multi-cultural community
has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans.....
we have our own culture, our
own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.
We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language.
Therefore, if you wish to become part
of our society, learn the language!
"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles,
founded this nation..... and this is clearly documented.
It is certainly appropriate to display it
on the walls of our schools.
If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as
your new home.........because
God is part of our culture.
If Stars and Stripes offend you, or
you don't like Uncle Sam, then you
should seriously consider a move
to another part of this planet.
We
are happy with our culture and have
no desire to change, and we really
don't care how you did things where
you came from.
This is
OUR COUNTRY,
our land, and our lifestyle.
Our First Amendment gives every citizen the
right to express his opinion and we
will allow you every opportunity to do so!

You come here, then YOU adapt, and leave your culture behind, that is, do not try and force that culture you left, on us here.

So they take it and instead of using it for public use such as a park or swimming pool, they sell it to a developer for his/her private use..???
OK..I get it now..It's theft by appropriation, legally...
OK...I just about had it..On these atheists and the "ACLU" hollering about separating church and state, I don't think them nuttsies have the slightest idea what that is all about, that is, why it's in the Constitution of the United States...DUMMIES !!! It was put there so that some religious organization or group can not make the laws of this country, based on their religion, be what it may. It does not have a thing to do with having the Ten Commandments on federal property, crosses on public property, bible classes in school, prayer in school or any manner of things they are bringing to the front and suing anyone in sight that may have a bible or wear a cross on a chain..Separation of church and state is just to keep one religion from ruling the country, as it did in old England..Wonder how many went to the guillotine for not adhering to the religious law.
I am tired of stupid atheists and ACLU lawyers hollering that "religious fanatics" are "pushing" religion on them. They don't like it, go away..I'll pray for 'em whether they there or not..
And are they not trying to "push atheism" on others by what they do, trying to stop religion everywhere.?? So they are just as guilty of "pushing" an issue as those they claim are pushing religion on them. They try and force those who believe in God to keep quiet, while they continue to push their own agenda..Ain't gonna happen, folks..All they are really looking for, is a dollar in their pocket, gained by suing someone for doing what they believe in. No one is suing them for being atheist, but it could well start..Think about it.
And by the way, this is a government OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people, so am I not government.

I saw something on one of those alphabet TV channels that about blew me away. It had to do with something like, "How to keep your "tween' busy", and went on to talk about buying them those video games and other gadgets that occupy kids these days. So the 'tween' is bored !!! I never had the guts to mention I was bored at home, or lacked anything to do. If I did, I was immediately put to work pulling weeds or cutting grass or picking up trash, or one of several dozen other chores that needed doing, but not to my way of thinking. I wonder, are these kids today so much "above" certain chores, that parents would never think of telling them to "go pull the weeds" or at least sweep the driveway, or some mundane thing that may teach them some responsibility.
And what's all the hype about that so-called prince in the UK getting married. And to his mistress, his partner in adultery while he was married. Does that not tell the young kids that it's OK to go out and mess around on your spouse and get away with it, then get world wide attention. To me, he is just another horny, spoiled rich guy who is used to having it all his way, just because he was born with a silver spoon. Far from a prince, in my opinion.
Then they mope around the pope, another self-proclaimed, or was he voted in?, "head of the church". And a church created by mortal man at that. I read in the bible that there is but one church, established by Christ, and that He is the head of the church. So why the big fuss over this pope guy? I know a lot of people follow him, but did you ever read the history of that 'church' as to how it conducted its self in the dark-ages, and even today, many of their priests or being convicted of child molestation. So the news media is putting the leader of a bunch child molesters on a pedestal. Come on folks!! Get a grip on what's going on. Now no doubt, John there is a nice enough guy, but he's still just a man.
Like I said above, I just can not figure it out.
What in the world is all this "political correct" stuff? Been reading lately of them dipsticks in LA County hollering about PC makers and others, using the words master and slave, referring to certain parts of their equipment. I have two drives on my PC and one is a master and one is a slave, and will remain so. Just can't figger why some nut gets offended over that. Those that get offended about such mundane issues are starting to offend me. Too bad..I been offended before...
So when are they going after the carmakers. Don't they know about the master cylinder in the brake system?
Why does the news always say the weather caused the accident, be it fog, ice, rain, high winds or whatever weather event was going on at the time of the accident?
I say one of the drivers, or the driver, just wasn't paying attention.
Why all the crying about how long our troops are in Iraq. Seems no one remembers our boys spent up to 4 years at war in Germany, the Pacific and other areas during WW two..
There's a job to be done, and we will finish it.
Why do these union workers go on strike. If you don't like the way he runs HIS business, go to work someplace else.
He started the business, and is not obligated to hire anyone. It's HIS discretion.
Feel privileged he hired you. You knew the deal when you hired on. Like it or lump it.
If you buy, say a Ford Pinto, and get rear-ended, and it catches fire, why try and sue Ford. You should have known that the Pinto had susceptibility to catch fire when rear-ended
It's been on the news for ages. Same thing with vehicles with WARNING signs all over the visor. I hear of people suing the maker of SUV's because it rolled over in a tight turn.
Can you not read?
Your kid goes and creates havoc somewhere, or vandalizes property, and you say "It's not my fault" (I have heard that).
Well, who is raising and teaching the kid the difference between right and wrong, Santa's elves?
And why do a lot of people blame the government for a poor economy? Or most any of their other troubles, such as a bad school system, or bad roads and many more things too frivial and numerous to even mention.
The government is elected by you, the people, and if you elect a crook and put him or her in office, who's to blame.
Kind of like hiring a known thief to do some work for you, and when your jewelry comes up missing, you blame the thief.
Well, I left a hundred dollar bill laying on the counter. I hope no one takes it.
Enlighten me on the above. And if it makes you mad (the truth is usually that way), I cant help it.
It aint my fault, cause there's ghost here making me write this, threatening to twist my arm.
Gun Control and Kids
Right off the bat, I say I am completely against ANY form of gun control. Our founding fathers saw fit to include the second amendment in the constitution for good reason. That reason is to enable the citizens of this country to defend themselves against a tyrannical government, or better said, to prevent a government such as that from forming. Think about why they came over from Britain and what the revolutionary war was about. Think about more recent events such as the holocaust and the more recent wars in the middle east. Hitler, Stalin and Mussolinni; they loved gun control. All countries where the people are oppressed by the government have gun control. I will not be oppressed by this government, or any other government. As a Life Member of the NRA, I will continue to fight against gun control by all means possible.
I know that if the authorities would Enforce the Existing Laws, even the ones in effect 20 years ago, there would be much less violence with firearms.
Also, if parents would Take Control of their kids and properly discipline them as kids were 30 years ago, those kids would not be pulling the "stunts" they do today, that being vandalism, shoplifting, and many other crimes that kids would not have thought of in years past.
Do you know where your kid is??? Really? What is wrong with strict discipline? I do not mean beating a kid, I mean spanking or whipping. Didn't hurt me. My Mama cared enough about me to STOP me from doing wrong, and she did. I never disputed her word or talked back to her. Nor my Daddy. I respected them, and what they had to say.
Teach love, respect and discipline. Trouble with kids will be rare.
